Vision Sunday 2021

Liquid Church
Nov 23, 2021

As churches across the country continue to rebuild after the pandemic, we are praising God for carrying Liquid Church through a hard season. We also realize there is still more ground to take. That’s why this Vision Sunday, we're excited to share what God is calling our church to in 2022.

At every Liquid Church campus location, we're hosting our annual Christmas Outreach, where we pack one million meals to feed the hungry around the world. We'll be coming together to pack nutritionally fortified meals as we partner with Rise Against Hunger, an international organization committed to ending the epidemic of chronic malnutrition.

In 2022, we will also support a new initiative in Passaic County that our long-time partner, City Relief, will be launching. Passaic County has seen the highest rise in homelessness in all of New Jersey. Along with City Relief, we will provide volunteers and funds to support the outreach in Paterson, so we can offer food, Christ's love, and access to a continuum of care for our homeless friends and the urban poor to experience life transformation.

Next up, in 2022 our church is investing in the next generation by purchasing a shuttle bus for New Jersey college students! Our newest campus in Mercer County is surrounded by students, with Princeton, Rider, and The College of New Jersey all just 10 minutes away. The shuttle bus will operate throughout the week across campuses, offering transportation to Sunday Worship Services, Small Groups, Outreaches, and events designed especially for college students. We also have a heart to help international students by providing a caring "surrogate family" for students while they are far away from home.

The vision for our third pillar in 2022 is to invest in our Special Needs Ministry. In June of 2022, Liquid Church will host "The Kings & Queens Ball," an unforgettable prom experience designed for teens and adults 14+ with Special Needs. With the Tim Tebow Foundation's announcement that Night To Shine would once again be a "drive-thru" event in 2022, we have decided to host an alternative event, so that we can provide our Special Needs community with an outstanding social experience. We also feel compelled to bring back "Respite Nights" in 2022. These events allow parents to drop off all their children for a few hours of free childcare, while their kids get the royal treatment with an evening of fun crafts, games, and socialization.

Last but certainly not least, our fourth pillar of vision for 2022 calls us to be generous as other churches in New Jersey and the Northeast rebuild from the pandemic and reach their communities for Christ. With that, we are excited to launch The Church Changer Network, which has three distinct platforms. The first is our Pastoral Coaching Network, which is a 9-month program where we invite lead pastors from around the region to come to Liquid for a day of encouragement, coaching, and free resources. Next, Fall 2022 will mark the launch of a brand-new One Day Leadership Conference designed to bless church leaders around the Northeast as we share best practices, ministry tools, and train local leaders. And finally, we'll be launching a monthly ministry podcast designed to serve pastors and church leaders with proven strategies to help them reach more people for Christ.

We invite you to continue learning about our Vision for 2022 and our Christmas Offering at THIS link. Read and pray about the vital missions Jesus is calling us to as a church family, and ask Him to guide your giving this Christmas. We know God will use your generosity to provide for all His children - so thanks for your heart for Christ and sacrifice in His name!
