Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? You’re invited to join Liquid Church as we pack ONE MILLION MEALS in a single weekend to feed the hungry around the world! We’re partnering with Rise Against Hunger to host meal packing outreaches at 6 locations across New Jersey. The meals we pack will serve children and families battling chronic malnutrition in developing nations.

Gifts for Kids Toy Drive
Christmas is the season for giving back. But, you don’t have to wait until December to start making a difference! We’re hosting a “Gifts for Kids” Toy Drive at Liquid Church this November. Liquid Campuses across New Jersey will be collecting new, unwrapped toys every Sunday. You can even shop our Amazon Wish List to send your donations directly to us. Your Christmas gifts will go to kids in family services across New Jersey to bring hope and joy to families who might otherwise not be able to afford Christmas presents. You can also bring your gifts to donate when serving on Christmas Outreach weekend.
Mercer County
Our Mercer County Christmas Outreach will take place at our Liquid Campus at 545 Meadow Road, Princeton, NJ 08540. This Christmas, let’s join hands and hearts to make a huge impact in the race to end chronic hunger and malnutrition. Bring your family, friends, and festive spirit as we pack meals and share the gift of hope with those in need.

Christmas Outreach FAQs
It's a JOY to serve at Christmas Outreach! In fact, we're betting it's one of the best investments you make this year! Here are some additional details to make serving a success.
Serving & Meal Packing
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled shift to get settled and participate in volunteer orientation.
Your scheduled shift time will be included in your registration details. Traditional meal-packing sessions are approximately two hours long.
Head to the Coat Check area to hang your coats and other personal belongings, as those are not allowed into the meal-packing area.
Before entering the meal-packing room, you’ll receive a hair net and hand sanitizing wipes. Once you’re settled, you’ll participate in a brief volunteer orientation covering the meal-packing process, safety guidelines, and what to expect during your volunteer role.
You’ll help prepare nutritious meals for communities facing hunger and chronic malnutrition around the world!
Depending on your assigned role, you may:
- Scoop dry ingredients, including grains, proteins, and vitamins, into meal packets.
- Seal and label meal packets.
- Box and stack completed meals for shipping.
Team members wearing Christmas Outreach t-shirts will be available throughout the event to answer questions and help at your station.
Rise Against Hunger volunteers will be part of the support team running the event. You will assist the meal-packing volunteers and help your meal-packing session run smoothly. You may guide volunteers to open packing tables and positions, refill supplies during the event, and make sure meals are packed properly.
Yes! If you prefer a seated role, let a team member wearing a Christmas Outreach t-shirt know when you arrive in the packing room. They will help you find an appropriate role.
Dress comfortably and wear sneakers or other closed-toe shoes. For safety reasons, please avoid ALL loose jewelry while working with food products.
Also, our Christmas Outreach is designed to be a fun, family-friendly holiday experience - so, please feel free to wear your favorite Christmas sweater or dress in festive attire to bring on the cheer!
Bring your holiday spirit! You’re also welcome to bring a personal water bottle to stay hydrated during your shift. Please keep it under the packing table and drink it away from the packing station.
Absolutely! Liquid Church is partnering with Children & Family Services of New Jersey for our Gifts for Kids Toy Drive, collecting Christmas gifts for children across the state.
You can participate in two ways:
- Shop online: Purchase a gift through our Amazon Wishlist and have it shipped directly to Liquid Church.
- Bring a gift: Bring an unwrapped toy, gift, or book for any age, from infants through young adults, to your meal-packing session.
Every volunteer helps us make a difference in the fight against hunger and chronic malnutrition! By the end of your shift, you’ll have helped prepare thousands of nutritionally fortified meals for individuals and families facing chronic hunger around the world.

Health & Safety
Yes. Powdered soy is a main ingredient in the nutritionally fortified meals we’ll be packing. If you have a soy allergy or sensitivity, we encourage you to take caution.
Masks are optional and will be available at check-in for anyone who prefers to wear one.
Hand sanitizing wipes will be available throughout the event space. You’ll also receive wipes before entering the meal-packing room. Please use them regularly.
If you’re feeling unwell but already registered to attend, please stay home to protect the health and safety of our volunteers and the integrity of the meals we are packing for those in need.
