When do I drop off my guest for the prom?

If you registered a guest for Night To Shine, then two weeks before the prom you will receive an email with your Guest’s arrival time. The arrival times are staggered to help alleviate check-in wait times and provide a smoother red carpet experience for guests.

Please note: The official prom hours are 6:00pm-9:00pm; however, we start check-in earlier so that all guests get the full prom experience and can be paired with their buddy, who will act as their host for the evening.

When can I pick up my guest? What if I need to pick up my guest before the prom is over?

Guest check-out begins once all guests have returned to their check-in room, which is where you will pick them up. We do not allow parents in the building until all guests are in their rooms. This is to ensure the safety and security of all our honored guests.

Pick-up time is officially 9:00pm, though individual pick-up times may vary slightly due to the pace at which all the guests return to their pick-up room.

If you need to discuss an early pick-up, please email [email protected].

This includes requests for a specific age, gender, etc. The evening of prom, after checking your guest in, the buddy pairing will be based on the guest’s needs and the buddy's experience.

Please contact [email protected] for more information or if you have any additional questions about buddies.
